Pictured in this brief review are two of my favourite pieces by American artist David Kracov; My Heart is All a Flutter and Book of Life. David Kracov was born in Boston and studied at the Rhode Island School of Design.  He began his career in animation, eventually illustrating for Disney Animation and working on features such as the Lion King and Aladdin. Kracov produces vibrant, free standing and wall sculptures, hand cut from a single sheet of steel. I am astonished by his attention to detail which allows his sculptures to ‘take life’ before our eyes.  Fantastic work.  These two pieces can be viewed on the following links:
